Greetings to one and all,
Quite often when I go to comcast.net home page, it crashes Firefox 11.0 on Windows Vista. Does this happen to you?
Comcast.net home page is the only page I have seen this happen.
Thanks

It has never happened to me. I use Firefox 10 and Internet Explorer 9- no problems with either one. Do you have the current vversion of FF?

I use FF11 on Win7 without any problems on the comcast.net home page. Disable all of the addons and see if still crashes. If not enable them one at a time. Once it crashes again that addon could be the problem.
Also make sure all the plugins are up to date. You can check your plugins here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/

I'm using FF 11.0. I believe it is the latest FF version. I checked for browser updates and needed a Flash update which I installed. Time will tell if that was/is the problem.

I just like to report that comcast.net homepage is now crashing FF12 on a different box. This one running XP Pro. It appears to be crashing just at the point when the page is fully loaded right after those ads appear.
PITA. Fix it please!

What extensions/plugins are you running?
I have run the beta versions of Firefox since v4b4 and have never had Firefox crash on the Comcast website. Currently I run Firefox 13b2.

Running:
Web Developer 1.1.9
Html Validator 0.9.5.1
Java Quick Starter 1.0
McAfee Script Scan for Firefox 14.4.1
Microsoft ,Net Franework Assistant 1.2.1
Search Helper Extension 1.0
Could one of these be causing crashes?
All I know is it crashes when it tries to load ads in the right sidebar. That's usually the last thing to load on the page.

Try disabling the Web Developer extension for a day and see if the crash goes away.
