Commcat is blocking websites?

Hi, first of all I just spend almost 2h on the phone with 5 of comcast technicians, and no one could help me.
Since like a month ago I have problems when trying to open most of a  polish websites. It usually says "  "Could not locate remote server" . There are days that everything is working as it suppose to, but those are not happing to often.
I tried opera, ie and chrome on different machines (dell-windows, imac and Ipad) so it's not a problem on my side. Besides a lot of my friends from DE, NJ, PA and VA have exactly the same problems.
Everything working proplerly on 3g (iphone) or on other Internet suppliers.
I wouldn't be so mad when it comes to just reading polish news, but couple of years ago I set up my business website on one of polish servers, and now many of my potential clients can not see it.
Like I said everyone at Comcast are saying that on there side everything is fine, and that for sure my computer is broken. The only thing they can do is support me with a professional technician ($20 worth) who will get to my computer and "fix it" .
If you are from one of those states, can you please check if you can open any from this websites:
lot.pl
onet.pl
nk.pl
agataphoto.net
Thank You

Try using opendns or googles dns as a work around .         http://www.opendns.com/business-solutions/premium-dns/benefits/

Re: Commcat is blocking websites?

Thanks a lot!

The OpenDNS helped,  but it's not a solution, I'm affraid.  I can't tell a potential clients that they have to do this to view my website.

Anyway Thank you very much.

I have to copy it on one of us servers as soon as I can.

Do you know why one day everything is perfectly fine, and the next one nothing works?

Comcast does seem to be having DNS problems -- some locations can resolve these host names, but most cannot. For example:

         dns.comcast.net/dig-tool.php
results for "onet.pl" 06-22-2012 04:41am
--------------------------------------------------
Pittsburg, PA (68.87.75.194) 213.180.141.140
Philadelphia, PA (68.87.64.146)
Chelmsford, MA (68.87.71.226) 213.180.141.140
Manassas, VA (68.87.73.242)
Detroit, MI (68.87.77.130)
Chicago, Il (68.87.72.130)
Atlanta, GA (68.87.68.162)
Naples, FL (68.87.74.162)
Denver, CO (68.87.85.98) 213.180.141.140
Beaverton, OR (68.87.69.146)
San Jose, CA (68.87.76.178)
Salt Lake City, UT (68.87.78.130) 213.180.141.140

The other sites you listed return similar results.

Re: Commcat is blocking websites?

The h-dns.pl server has outdated DNSSEC information for the .pl domain. If our server recieves a response from that server, it will fail validation. We have reached out to the administrators of the .pl domain to get that server synced up.

Thanks,

John

When using dns.comcast.net/dig-tool.php with these hostnames, why do some servers return an address, while others do not? Why can some customers reach these hosts, while others cannot?

Re: Commcat is blocking websites?

That's weird... because my friends in North Carolina are also using Comcast and don't have any problems. Why???

Anyone over where I live can't see the most of .pl sites.

So how come the location matter?

And You post exact same msg in other post over a week ago, so we know that arleady. Can you please write something that might actually help ?
