I went to start , then to all programs and I see Internet Explorer (64-bit) and under it Internet Explorer . Which one should I use to open my web page and pin it to the task bar , or does it not matter which one I use . We have windows 7 and IE9 . If I bring up Internet Explorer (64-bit) as the web page and go to help , about Internet Explorer the pop up box will have the version number followed by (64-bit) . The other Internet Explorer choice will not .

You *may* find the 32 bit version to be more compatable with more websites.

A web site itself doesn't care if it's 32-bit or 64-bit. The issue could be any plugins required. Not all are available in 64-bit versions, although I think most of the biggies (Flash, Acrobat) are or soon will be.
