Everytime I go on the computer (which is new, by the way), the IE has problems most of the time and shuts down what I am doing, and that is when I am on Facebook only.  The facebook.com connection keeps circling and circling and does not want to sign me in.  When I do get on, it shuts me down or freezes where I cannot even sign out of facebook correctly.  Is Comcast having problems with the internet?

Since it only happens with Facebook as you say. I think it's rather unlikely an issue with Comcast. My suggestion is to clear your browsers cache and cookies. Restart your computer, then try loading Facebook again and see if that solves your problem. If the problem still persists after clearing cache and cookies you may wish to see if it happens using a different browser than the one having the problem. I would suggest trying Chrome or Firefox.
