New Chrome user

Hi - i was having issues with ie9 on facebook and changed to chrome yesterday..  i have comcast as my home page but i cannot get it to open with my id & password already in (like i did with ie9).  I am also having an issue because i cannot find the toolbars with file, edit, ets on the top ?? Can anyone walk me through this as i am not tech savvy .... thanks, i really need some help.

Remembering your username and password is normally a function the the page your are using for your home page. Usually there is a checkbox you can select.

 

For the missing menu items, left click on the wrench at the far right of the address bar area in Chrome. You can also select the 'Settings' option there. The 'Help' function offers a lot of choices for new Chrome users. Check it out.

Just to check, go into your Xfinity/Comcast email, and then open the window to compose a new message.  Can you type anything in the body of the message?  I have Chrome on both my iMac and a Windows 7 laptop, and in both I can't type anything in a new email.  The cursor doesn't even show up.  But I can type in the Subject line OK.
