Each time I log on to internet I have to download XFinity toolbar even though "Lock toolbar" is checked.Why won't the toolbar stay on the home page and why do I have to download the toolbar each time ?

This isn't really an email problem, but I'm not sure where it should move.
You don't NEED to have the toolbar.
Which web browser and operating system are you using? Maybe someone who uses the toolbars can help you.

The toolbar has been causing people issues since its inception. My advice would be to remove it; it really provides nothing you need, and as you've noted, comes with its own set of problems.

I have to agree I just got this yesterday and keep losing my toolbar and my favorites page! I am also trying to get rid of Internet Explorer and get Google Chrome - Explorer is off more than on! So far I am not too impressed although it is faster than Fairpoint!

You might want to try Firefox as your browser. Many of us use it.

Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version?
Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X
Details of the problem you are having.
