Yahoo toolbar

periodically internet freezes, then restarts a new screen, and get the message: "Yahoo toolbox has stopped working properly"  then directed to Yahoo.  No further installation help at Yahoo.  I'm afraid to proceed without guidance.

Re: Yahoo toolbar

If you have the Yahoo toolbar installed the best solution is UNINSTALL it.

That may resolve the issue for you.

Are you using IE?  If so try Firefox.  I use the Yahoo toolbar in FF and have no problems with it.  In FF you will also have Yahoo in your main menu bar, and you can access anything on the toolbar from there.  That way, if you like, you can hide the toolbar to free up some screen real estate.   I'm on a Mac, but I don't think that should make any difference.
