additional software being installed....?

Hello,
Ever since I've begun using netscape 7.1, Software such as clocksync, Memory watcher, Lycos sidesearch, and Toptext Ilookup are being installed on the PC. I unstall them but when I restart the PC the programs are installed again. I tried turning off the software install option in the preferences section under advanced but that didn't work.

Is anyone else having the same problem? I also use IE. What do I do?

Get Ad-aware or Spybot and clean your system.

I agree with the previous post. I recommend Spybot. It's a very good program, plus it's free. Another little app you should download is 'Hijack This'.

Once you have Spybot and Hijack This installed, get the free updates for both of the applications. Run Spybot, then run Hijack This. Once you have finished the process, Reboot! You may need to do this a few times before your system is clean.
