Explain what you mean by Facebook wants in?  Are you getting a pop up from Facebook? Or something else is happening.  Do you have block pop-ups set in your browser settings?
Please provide more details.

Re: facebook

When I receive an email with an attachment that I want to open I move my curser over to the address and at once an "F" appears over the address and if I click onto it I then go thru facebook.  I do not want the "F" to appear and I certainly do not want to ever go thru facebook.  How do I stop this?

Does this happen no matter what the source of the attachment is?  What kind of item are you talking about--documents, photos?  Can you still open the item in the usual fashion?  It sounds like something in the attachment itself has a link to Facebook.  I just sent myself a document from my computer to my Comcast email address, and I can't duplicate what you are describing.  I get no "F" or anything---and I actually have a Fb account.

Re: facebook

I would ask Facebook about this.  it sounds to me as though the email isbeing sent from Facebook.  But since I don't use it, I can't help further with it.

When I went to click on to your address, the "F" appeared over your address and if I would have clicked on the "F" i would have gone thru facebook not on the comcast reply to message

Re: facebook

You might check your addons in your browser setting to see if you have somehow installed  this popup alert to facebook. You might also check facebook help/forums to see if they can adivse you how to get rid of this.

Re: facebook

Go to the add & remove programs feature for your version of windows.  Look for any entry with a name for facebook or facebook browser plug-in and select uninstall/remove to permanently remove.  You can also do as Double G suggests and disable if showing as an add-on.
