i can not view any videos from you tube and it tells me to install new "adobe flash player", but when tried, it will not download the program. help

Share what operating system and browser you are using.

Open it in the browser in question, and it will auto-detect your browser and download the appropriate version
If it's Internet Explorer, it will probably need a reset first
Have IE closed
Control Panel => Internet Options => Advanced => Reset

I have this same problem. Actually, I've had it for at least two months now. No matter what I try (downloading a new flash version) it doesn't correct the problem. We have three computers in our home, and none of them can view you tube videos. However, when my daughter brings her laptop to her friend's house, she is able to use it to view youtube videos without any problems. I even went so far as to restoring one of the computers. That was no help either. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Bypass your router and try from the modem, making sure to powercycle the modem each time you hook something different to it, to establish connection.... have the router powered off, itll connect even if it's on... If you can watch youtube from the modem, your router needs a factory reset, and to be set back up...
