I can view the phone number of a caller but cannot add contact info. It says 1(222)333-4444 called and I add a name and when I exit, the name is gone. When I go to Comcast.net I can see the number and it says "out of area".
When you say 'caller' are you referring to Caller ID?

This is the mobile xfinity app used with an iPad to access email,voice stuff. I assume it is the caller ID function. It is the list of calls u make, receive, and miss. U are allowed to add contact info for calls. Such as a name. Almost all calls do not list the number 1-507-222-333. It is usually 507-222-333. If that is any help. It is an iPad 1 and has the latest OS which is 5.1.
Just to let you know that if you did a google search that no. 1(222)333-4444 there are lots of compliants about that number. When you try to add this to your contact list you will not see a name because the person who dialed the number did not provide his/her name.
Whoa boy, that was an example. The point I was trying to make was the troublesome number has a "1" pre eding it. It is 1, xxx, xxx- xxxx. All other numbers are listed without the "1". Such as 202-323-3255. That is also an example. Understand?
The problem number is 1-414-257-1975. I assumed you did not care what the number was, just the fact I cannot add contact info. Heck, you can call them if you want. I think they are a collection agency. My ex- wife does not like to pay bills. Haha
