How do you add new folders to file emails you would like to keep on an Ipad2?
I dont know if this would work but have you tried creating a folder using xfinity connect and then see if the folder shows up on your ipad2?

Xfinity mobile app does not allow creating folders from the app. As Reasd said, you will have to create them online using Xfinity Connect. Once you have done that, come in to the app -log out and log back in to see the folder in the 'Folders' section.
