Tried to log onto the Watch ESPN Android app with my Comcast/Xfinity ID only to find that EVEN THOUGH i WAS TOLD OTHERWISE BY CUSTOMER SERVICE, Comcast/Xfinity IS NOT among the list of providers in the app
**DOES COMCAST REALIZE THAT BECAUSE THE WATCH ESPN APP IS A THIRD PARTY APP THAT ANDROID SUPPORT FOR IT DOES NOT FALL UNDER ITS JURISDICTION LIKE THE XFINITY TV APP DOES** ?? Or is this YET ANOTHER way of keeping support "In House" as it were (Even though Comcast DOES NOT own the ESPN properties, assets, etc)
I hate to make it sound like I'm sounding alarms here but last time I checked, Comcast owns the *NBC* line of properties - NOT the Disney ones
I'll be following up via Twitter in hopes of getting a faster response
Cheers ![]()

the app for apple was just released two months ago. the android version should be out soon. Here is a thread with a response from comcast that says that.

I have successfully logged into watchespn through Comcast/Xfinity. If you search for Watchespn when logged into Xfinity via a browser, you can select any of the espn streaming channels and it will load. No need to use the app.
