Eliza/ Cadp - Are you able to login to Xfinity Connect online with your secondary Email ID?
What happens when you use your secondary email ID to login to the Xfinity mobile app ? Does it give you an error, what message do you get, if you are able to enter the app?

Thank you for helping with this problem! I am able to login to my secondary email accounts online at Comcast.net and all my current email is there. With my Xfinity iPhone app I always logged into my primary account and I access my secondary accounts through "Folders" then when I open the folder it would update. Now it doesn't.
I did log off my primary account on the Xfinity iPhone app and was able to login my secondary accounts on the Xfinity iPhone app - and the email was up-to-date. Has something changed to where I now have to logoff and logon to each individual email account in order to see them on my iPhone? If so that is incredibly inconvenient and time consuming.

I am also experiencing the same - can log into secondary accounts but find it terribly inconvenient, esp since I didn't have to do this previously. Thanks so much for looking into this.

One last question - what happnes when you open your secondary account folders in the folders tab ? - do you see a pop-up/ a message .. does the icon spin or it gives you an error?
Investigation is oin-going and i will get back to you shortly. those who haven't please email me on email@example.com with your primary and secondary email IDs.

The folder for the secondary accounts opens like normal - the updating your email icon spins and gives the message that it is updating your email - but no new email appears - just the email from 9/19 and before stays there. No popup messages or errors happen. Thank you!!!

Okay. Here is what i know as of now. The external email folders are being treated as a normal folders due to a backend change. The team is investigating to make sure nothing else is causing this. Will know more on when a fix can come and if it will only be a backend update or will need a client update.
Thanks for your patience. For users with secondary email accounts, for now - you will have to log out of the app log in with your secondary email address to check them. We appreciate your patience.

please continue to use this forum for any Xfinity mobile related issues.Also, it will be very nice of you to go to iTunes and rate/review xfinity mobile app and also mention how your issues were fixed on the forums. This way more and more users will be able to find solutions from this forum.

This same thing is happening to me now. I have disabled the primary acct and still am not getting any new emails on the secondary. Have also deleted and re-added the secondary with no success. Please advise if something has changed since Tues. 7/17/12 as that was the last day both accounts updated on my Iphone 3G. Thanks
