Upgrade to 4.01 and Email Sync Fails

I was notified of the upgrade to 4.01 and I proceeded without any issues until it came time to sync with the Web mail.  All the messages remain on the phone and have to be deleted then cleared from the Trash.  Also, if I delete an email from the Phone it deletes it from the Mail Server so I cannot get it through Outlook or the Web, which is also new. This was not the behavior with the previous version.  I tried logging in and out and install and reinstall but it still does not sync.  Is it possible to revert to the previous version?

 

There is another thread here with the same issue but no resolution.

Edit:  I forgot there is one more glitch:  Notifications do not work, neither the audible or the Icon.

I got a notice of yet another upgrade, 4.0.2, installed it and the all the issues were resolved.
