Xfinity App won't play with AV cables on my tv

I am unable to play my Xfinity App using the AV cables from my iPad on my tv. Netflix and YouTube work just fine. Any info on when Xfinity will get this issue resolved ?

The video out on the ipad app is disabled for licensing reasons.  They do not want you to take your ipad and push it to your tv, if they did airplay would be enabled.
