The "Load more messages" still does not work and I have the latest version of the Xfinity Mobile App. When will this problem be fixed? I am going to uninstall this app because it is not working properly. It was working just fine until I installed the upgrade.

Are you in the email tab? Before you press on 'Load more messages' can you make sure the sort bar is sorted by 'Date'. How many messages you have on your email box - the apo currently shows the first 25.
Can you try this ? - Go to main menu and tap on the settings icon on bottom right. In email settings select 'Messages per page' to 50 or 100. and see if you can get all your emails.
Are you using the 3.0.1 version of the app?

Suddenly this APP no longer works on my HTC Droid Incredible. I'm using the 3.0.1 version. What did you do to it???? It freezes up and I have to force close, uninstall and reinstall just about every other time. App is almost completely useless. What it the work around to access my email until I get this fixed. For what I pay monthly for Comcast internet and TV this is a joke.

Running Xfinity app on Droid 3 with Gingerbread. Having issues with inbox being accurate. New message notification and viewing are fine, but after reading, these new emails are no longer listed in the inbox or anywhere else. They have not been deleted, because they show up in webmail, just not on the mobile app. Is this going to be fixed or do I need to forward all my comcast.net email to my gmail account to have reliable mobile access?

Stancurtz - the email missing issue is related to a caching issue which we have identified and a fix is coming out soon in a 3.5 release. Please watch out for the app update on Android Market.

since the lastest update, everytime I go into the Xfinity mobile app, and do a refresh for new messages, I get a Invalid Time Input message. i can click ok and the message goes away and it seems like the app is working fine after that till I refresh again.

when I open the app and click on messages is when the invalid time input message appears. if i exit the app and go back in and click on messages again it will pop up the message. i have also noticed that the auto refresh option for messages stopped working with the new update.

update...I unsubcribed from the text messaging service and the invalid time input did not appear. as a test I re subcribed to the test messaging service and the message came back. as for now I have the text messaging deactivated due to everything is working correctly now.

When you try to sycn the app - do you have any text messages in your Text tab ?
Can you make sure you send a few messages so they are present in your text tab - and then refersh the app- Let me know if you still get this error?

as long as there at least one text message under the text tab, the message will not appear but if I were to delete the messages and refresh, I get the error message again

Yes. We have idenitified the issue. When there is no message in the SMS tab, the backend systems returning false values due to wich this error is seen. We are fixing this soon and an update should be coming out shortly. Meanwhile be sure to have at least one message in your SMS box.

Upgraded to 3.5 a week ago. I'm still having the issue with my inbox on phone not being in sync with webmail. Let me know when another fix is available, but I'm going to have to switch to another email client on my phone. I don't use anything but the email.

We have plans to move to IMAP in order to improve expeirence on mobile app especially.
A new android update is scheduled for end of this month and will fix most of the issues.
Any one having sync issues should log out of the app and log back in.

My comcast email on my droid is so undependable its getting where I cant even use it.
Emails disappear and are unretrevable.... its rediculous.

I no longer use the comcast app due to the inconsistencies.
Im using the email app on the android phone (Version 2.3.6)
The problem is that I can receive new emails that will not ever show up on my phone. They will only show up as an email from 1969.. And then sometimes they get deleted completely from other the comcast server and my phone and cant be recovered.
I have 2 other web mail accounts and the comcast email is the only one that has these issues.
I was hoping that the upgrade to IMAP might fix this issue.

We apologize for the delay in responding.
Let me ask a few questions - have you setup your comcast email as a POP account somewhere and at multiple places?
First - make sure the Xfinity mobile version is the latest from the andriod market. If possible delete the app you have and install a fresh version from the Android Market.
Log out of the Xfinity Mobile app / along side open the Xfintiy Connect browser and login to your email online. - Now login to the Xfintiy mobile app - and compare the messages in the 'Email' tab in the app and the email tab (inbox) oniline. Do you see any discrepancies there?Xfinity Mobile app is a true copy of the messages that are there in your inbox online. If you delete any messages from your POP client chances are that message will not show up anywhere.
Let me know what you find and we can investigae further.

Yea I loose about 3 random emails a month on my comcast account due to mysterious deleting by your server.
It never happens with my work email or my gmail account ONLY COMCAST.
But whatever I guess the guys a gmail are smarter!
