Cannot get to email

[ Edited ]

Hi,

I have the new site page and it won't let me get to my email. I click on email and it loops to home page. It also says I am not logged in. When I click log in it loops to home page. Please help! This is my business email. I am using Internet Explorer.

Hi Eric,

I cannot get to my email, the new home page keeps sending me back to my homepage and it says I am not logged in and it won't give me a login page either. I press login and it reroutes to home page. I need my email!

Try using a different web browser and let me know if it works. This is not a permanent solution but it will help us narrow down your issue.

If you want to go back to Internet Explorer, try disabling any ad blocking add-ons in IE and then try again.

There is something in Internet Explorer that is blocking the page from loading correctly since it works in Firefox.

Try uninstalling Internet Explorer and try installing it again.

Re: Your New Home Page

I am not sure what you mean. It worked last night and then this morning it didn't. How is it Internet Explorer? That makes no sense. First I cannot watch some videos because of it working with Silverlight (which now the vids do not work in Firefox either... before they did) and now my IE is not compatible with your site? ACK! This is very frustrating!

Re: Your New Home Page

you may have by mistake blocked the site.  if you go tools and options in IE then to the security tab.  Make sure no comcast sites are in the blocked sites, and add to the trusted sites the page your trying to view.  if that does not work you can go tools then advanced settings and at the bottom click rest, that will bring all your settings back to where they were.

Re: Your New Home Page

Almost sounds like the Privacy settings under Tools. If the setting is for High on Security or Privacy the same thing will happen whenever you try to log on.

Both areas the High setting will block third party cookies. You could double check that nothing changed. I keep mine at Medium-High setting.

Another thing to try would be clearing the cache. Under Tools and on the first tab look for the browsing history. Click delete and that will clear all the files in the Temporary Internet folder. An old cookie might be causing the issue also.

That didn't work either. It is still looping back to home page. Try to login - back to home page. Try to go to email from either site Comcast.net or com - loops back to home page. Settings are medium high as well. Still not sure why I cannot watch videos either. Bleah!

Hi Tinkerslady,

I've been following this thread, didn't see a suggestion that  you try clicking on the EMAIL box at the top of this page...

Have you tried that??

IE8- compatibility mode- Vista

Re: Your New Home Page

I  seem to be having the same issue for a few months now. My laptop has no problem but my PC loops back to comcast/infinity homepage after I log in. I also have used the little sign in tab in the corner. It worked for awhile then stopped working. I get a brief flash of my inbox then it goes back to homepage and I must sign in again. I  have reset all to original settings to no avail.
