Is the ad expanded when trying to use the search bar?
Can you please provide a screenshot if possible.
Thanks,

When I do a search with Google on the Comcast home page the ad for Capital one blocks most drop down suggestions by Google. Why does Comcast over do the ads??? Please back off with the greed. Can anyone tell me how to correct this a problem?

If you click on this link> http://xfinity.comcast.net/adinformation/
You can block many ads. If you use Firefox as your browser, you can download and install Ad Blocker Plus Add-On which blocks ads.

The Roll over ad/banner for Capital One run directly through the drop down menu when I do a search. This is very frustrating . Please consider removing this add. If I'm interested in a product I am perfectly capable of searching for it when I choose to. I don't need the banner to try and convince me of anything and will mostly likely not choose the company because it's advertising is so annoying.
Thanks

this is a user to user forum so comcast is not getting what you posted. If you don't like the ads why do you visit the web page? you have many other options for a homepage or an email page.

Most homepags do have ads, no matter which one you choose to use.
See this post made by ComcastJoe in this Thread too:
You can opt out of viewing some ads by clicking on this link:

If you use Firefox as your browser, you can block ads too, by installing the
Ad Blocker Plus Add -On.

maxmax, this was an issue only affecting Internet Explorer users and is being addressed so it doesn't happen again the next time we run an ad like the one that ran yesterday.
rog, Comcast does monitor these forums and ad feedback is directed to our Advertising teams.
