Not exactly the biggest deal in the world, but for some reason even though I check the box to remember sign in, lately (it used to work fine) I find that after re-starting my browser (ie 9 64 bit) I have to sign back into my home page, instead of it being remembered. Any ideas, or fix?

Hello,
The Remember Me feature is a Comcast cookie. If you clear your cookies in Firefox, you will also clear that Comcast Cookie and Remember me will not work

This issue is also being reported in the Email forum.
I don't use the Comcast home page. I don't use Xfinity Connect for email access.
I do frequent this forum and despite checking Keep me signed in I found that I was not staying signed in.
For now, the problem seems to be resolved for me. All I know is that every once in a while it goes flaky and doesn't keep me signed in. And no I was NOT deleting cookies.

Yes, not to denigrate firefox, but as I stated, I am using IE 9. I have not deleted cookies recently, so that would not be the issue. As I mentioned, it worked okay previously, but as of late won't retain my sign on info...but again, not that it is a life or death issue, just wondered of there was a fix, or if others had the same occurrence.

This seems to be yet another bug in Comcast's already buggy internet presence. I usually only have to re-log every couple weeks, but for the past few days I have to login every time I try to check my email.

Maybe when they were fixing the TAB order they somehow messed this up. That'll teach people to ask for minor improvements.

I hate to get into this conversation as I know where it will end up - but do you suppose the reason the "Remember Me" does not work is because it is a "64 bit IE"? Most programs are based on the 32 bit IE - which is the default IE for Win 7!
A veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard, or reserve - is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to The 'United States of America', for an amount of 'up to and including my life.'

Nah, I should have mentioned that I did also replicate this with IE 9 32 bit version, sorry.
BTW, US Army, RA - Ret here!

Just a +1 for people who formerly had no problems re. being automatically logged in for about 2 weeks at a time...
...UNTIL about a week ago, when I started getting asked for username & pass EVERY DAY. And this problem occurs in IE-9 and the latest Firefox, not just one. And I too, only delete cookies once in a blue moon, and certainly not recently.
Seems like a fundemental glitch on COMCAST'S end, not ours

This problem has occurred with my system also... IE8 Vista ...
All of the links that I've been using for quite some time were malfunctioning.. And every time I tried to get to web mail, I was always forwarded to that wonderful piece of work, known as comcast/xfinity, and then I had to log in again... Talk about nightmares..

I thought it was my machine, cleared out cookies, cache, temp files, hist. etc.., finally, back to normal, links are operational, and I don't have to look at that homepage..
Also, glad to see that the sign in page was corrected.. ![]()

I am having the same problem. Actually very annoying for someone who has arthritis in their fingers. Chock up another one for Comcast.
