Also note that the data usage meter resets at midnight universal time at the end of the month and that usage may be delayed by three hours. So roughly any traffic after sometime this afternoon/evening will be counted in February not January.
Don't try to squeeze in just a few more big downloads by the end of the month. That approach may backfire.
It doesn't appear that Comcast is strictly enforcing the 250 GB data usage limit.

Exactly what does the usage meter show? Does it show Internet usage only, or does it include things like On Demand and the new Streampix service? In other words, is it metering just the broadband modem, or is it metering all the data at the service address?

It's my understanding that it is measuring bits through your modem. If it doesn't go through the modem, it isn't counted.
But watching On Demand movies on your computer . . . I'm not sure. I think it counts as through the modem.
