The video providers (ABC, Fox, Reuters, etc) are the ones who place the ads in the videos.
Comcast cannot remove them as they don't have a team of folks who can watch every video to get rid of them.
Even if they did have an ad removing team it still could not be done because of contractual reasons. Alterations are prohibited.
Someone has paid the vendor for ad placement, the vendor wants the money, you are stuck with seeing the ads.
Comcast employees must be authorized to post in the forum. Employees posting here have their names in red and are designated as employees. Names not in red are customers.
