I am not receiving my points earned on (ALL) Trivia games I play to available points total---HELP PLEASE

Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version?
Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X

I am using IE 8 XP xfinity never had problems till about a week ago also trouble signing in and out I'll be signed in and can not get into poker, sign in and out restart nothing helps What should I do??? I am no expert/ full or lite???? email comcast, browser cache??? I stay in comcast play trivia and poker can not get into trivia most of the time and when I do I do not get the points I have earned EARL thanks for HELP... EMAIL OK

Regarding the Trivia points: Did you click on Help on the Games Page? After clicking on Help, on the lower right side of the new page you will see a link Contact Us to contact the Games Team about your issue.
Re: Sign in/Out: This is a known issue that Comcast is aware of, but it has not been fixed yet.
Re: Clearing cache: Click on this link for the directions: Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari

The contact us button is the first thing I tried to get HELP with the problems with TRIVIA games This brings me to trymedia and they say they can not help me with these problems I did clear out the cache browser no help comcast no help trymedia no help where should I turn to next????

Can you walk me through a game and let me know how many points you received for each question and such. Please be as specific as possible.

If that's to me, I can play the game fine, just can't save anything. I used to have a gamer profile as well, and that's gone.

hi thanks for trying to HELP I play SEVEN... What's new in the news every week... gansters...a few others how many points does not matter anywhere from 285 to 380 is basic but on the second question in all the games I have tried It sticks and I know that trivia will not give me my points ..... Say I earn 380 points on SEVEN it should to to available points for use in POKER IT DOES NOT not mattter hwo many points I earn I do not get any of them... EMAIL is fine comcast page is fine evertthing is fine but TRIVIA GAMES (THIS HAPPENED about 2 years ago maybe and I kept complaining to trymedia and 1 day it was fixed not it is doing the same thing again my avatar is BOYES and I'll be signed in and I go to poker and I am a GHOST so I believe it's tied into poker some how... Hey Earl, I'm Dave. Used to be able to see my trophies and play for points, but now I get an error message. Like you, I don't know where to go to get this fixed.
Keep getting told to go there, we don't handle that.

CCCarole/comcast JOE see it's not just ME check and see the games that people are playing they are not TRIVIA ... They can't play them It's DOWN????? Sign in and out in not working right either...

We have been seeing some server issues this week and these may be the same servers that handle points being applied to user totals. We are still investigating this issue and I will update this thread when I learn more.

Hi COMCAST JOE can you let people know that if you have comcast refresh the signal to the modem it fixes trivia games to work but not all the issues alot of things DO NOT show up like players profile, trophies BUT YOU DO GET YOUR POINTS--BOYES-- EARL YOU will need to sign in again with account number and phone number and let it take a little time to GO>>>>>>

Well it was nice will it lasted I score 100,000 and now can not get back into TRIVIA I give up I am going to shut down internet... Not worth the hassel Boyes

Just to let you know that I am also having problems with Trivia games. I play the Multi-Player game, Nitro Poker. I have quite a few points built up but now can't see my Mini profile on the games page, where it states my points total and lists the last game that I played as an easy link to the Nitro Poker game. This is very frustrating because this was one my best past time activities. I would greatly appreciate someone figuring this out so that I can play whenever I want. I pay an enormous monthly bill for this Comcast and one of my favorite uses of it is now not available.

Hi POOLSTER I know what your going thru and it's not good I like to play POKER but not very good so I rely on TRIVIA for points to lose to SWSW and PATT I contacted TRYMEDIA and they said they can not HELP so I contacted COMCAST and they said Player Profile??? Than tried this site and no help either but finally after a few weeks I found someone at COMCAST who knew what I was talking about and they made out a ticket and let's see what happens This kind lady knew exactly what I was talking about and said it was there (COMCAST) server not working properly hope it's fixed soon.... Yup. An issue a lot of us are facing, but this place doesn't seem like it cares or is willing to help. When the only response you get is to clean your cache and cookies, it becomes pretty obvious not many here know what they're talking about in this area.

I wish they would just give us a manual way of signing into our profile. That would solve everything, I think!

Hey POOLSTER I spent and hour plus last night with comcast It's there problem I recomend that YOU and other players contact COMCAST and complain It's the only way they are going to fix the site ... They do know there is a problem and are working on it but it's not affecting everyone so complain and complain again till it's fixed that's what I am doing but more voices would HELP>>> EARL(BOYES)

I went through the same thing. Still going through it. Been on the phone for hours with Comcast, been to chat with them and then here.
Nothing has worked or been changed.
The thing is, I can see other peoples profiles and trophies. I could understand more if it were everyone being affected by this, but it isn't.
Seems to be just random folks that are having the issues and I guess that isn't enough to prompt Comcast to fix it.

in games, cannot get to profile, I have tried ie,mozilla , and chrome.....sometimes I can get to profile , but, if I log out I cannot access profile again.....I use ccleaner for cache and history, still no results, and it appears a lot of players are experiencing the same problem!

It let's me in when it wants to and when it does I just keep playing clearing the cache every few games-- sign in and out reset modem It's a real pain but it does work sometimes; I have been calling COMCAST and speaking with a tech almost every day they must be aware that I will cancel my internet service if they do not take me serious AND FIX THE PROBLEM WHEN i CAN NOT SLEEP i WANT TO PLAY poker OR trivia AND WHEN IT DOES NOT WORK i GET ANGRY good luck EARL

1-800-266-2278 press 2 for internet and talk to a tech and let them know how you can not get into TRIVIA games or POKER I have been having some luck clearing my cache alot signing in and out and in again and going back and forth to home page and back to games and when I get in I stay in and get as many points as possible COMCAST does know it has a problem and is working on it but its good to let them know it just not ME and YOU anhd a few other players I've talked to GOOD LUCK EARL

I wonder if it isn't a confined issue,maybe a local advertisment interferring with the profile loading.............,on IE a local adv. appears where the profile is.

After playing poker for an 1 1/2 hours last night, I closed my browser, and now my profile is not appearing again. On my games page, I have this very annoying ad where my profile usually is, if you mouse over this ad it opens by itself, you don't have to click on it. I wonder if this is on everyone's game page, even the ones that are not having a problem like we are. If not, could this be a local type problem, where Comcast has customized this ad for our locales? I live in the Detroit area, does anyone else having this problem live in this area?

Poolster, I also could get into my profile last night and play,but, today nothing, the adv. pops up on me only when I use IE........the tech yesterday told me I was the 1st they had heard of the problem of players not being ale to access their profile and I directed him to this forum.....duh.......comcast is supposed to call me back today....

I have an ad where my profile shoud be as well. And I haven't been able to get into my profile once in months.
Like I said, I called them 3 times and not once did they know what I was talking about. Finally got put on with a service tech who couldn't help with the games end, only if I were having service interruptions or PC problems.
Really like to have this staightened out.
