Why is the volume control disabled on the home page videos, (e.g. Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel videos)?

What volume control are you talking about? Be more specific please. What homepage are you looking at?

I'm referring to the Xfinity Home Page under "Today's Highlights" section. There are links to snippets of videos. After opening the video, there is no volume control button listed under the video. Here's the link I opened today:
Thank you.

That link did not work. Can you please re-send it?

Here's a different link from today's highlights. The only way I could get it to open from here is to right click the link and then "Open Link in New Window" to that page.

While the video is playing, place your mouse over the video and a toolbar will appear at the bottom of the video. To the right of that toolbar, you will see a volume control option as highlighted in this screenshot:

Yes, I usually try that but the toolbar never shows for me. The ads for Hulu, etc. stay at the bottom of the video covering up the control buttons. This is what I see even when I continuously roll the mouse over the video:

Try setting your browser zoom settings to default and then try again.
If you don't know how, tell me your browser and I will walk you through it.
