Usually I can get rid of that irritating advertisement on the right when
using my email. There is one there now that will not go away. Advice?

You can remove ads from the email tab (inbox) of webmail. Under the right skyscraper ad, click the link "ad info" and select "turn off email ads". You will need to sign out and sign back in for the change to take effect.
Unfortunately, that's the only add that can be removed as of now.
There are also ad blocking add-ons to your browser that will keep you from seeing the ads, but will not actually remove them.
Hope that helps.

Not sure what you are talking about in terms of the right skyscraper tab. Having trouble locating this. Right clicking on anything is bringing up the save as and open default list

It's the big one on the right of your inbox, where you can see all your email. You should see hyperlinks (blue text, I think) under that ad. It's in about size 3 font; they really don't want you to see that!
