Re: Anyplay in Chicago

I just spoke with Comcast.  The good news is that Anyplay should be available in Chicago suburbs on 7/28.  The bad news is that there will be a $10 monthly charge!!  Too bad, I'm sure it would have been a great feature, but not at that price...

Re: Anyplay in Chicago

I have confirmed that comcast will be charging $10/month to use Anyplay.  Why should customers who are already paying upwards of $200/month to watch tv in their homes pay an additional $10/month...to watch tv in their homes?  Isn't that the same as being charged twice for the same service?  Customers would be better off buying a slingbox.  They could then watch on 3g and watch outside their homes...a better offering than Anyplay.  Very disappointing!

That was for the beta testing but it is now being released in more markets. I have removed my post to remove any confusion.

Thanks,
