so what exactly are you trying to do? you can only watch on demand type shows using the play now button on the bottom on the app. The newest xfinity tv app is not working properly many including me have complained, it use to work great now half the shows won't play.
you can't watch live tv in case that was what your trying to do, your post is a little vague.
