Question on iPad app?

So I downloaded the iPad app but the only option I get is to watch on tv or record the show. Am I able to watch a show in progress on my iPad?

With the xfinity app for ipad you can only watch ondemand shows using playnow which you will see as an icon in the bottom of the app.

 

The only company I know that has live tv to ipad is cablevision.
