The latest Droid App Requires INTRUSIVE permissions to your Phone, think twice

I love the Xfinity Droid app dearly, but will either avoid upgrading or un-install it now because they require you give permission to WAY too many things that are not necessary for the application to function.

The following new requirements are taken directly from their permission page you have to agree to to install the software.  There are more but these bother me the most.

It can;

Intercept outgoing calls

Record audio, take pictures and video

Older version require this

Modify/delete SD card contents

Read the details.  I hate being a paranoid, conspiracy theorist, but Xfinity, this is just wrong.
