I setup a new HD Setup box but cannot control it through the app. I have two boxes and the one in the other room works just fine...
so far no one on customer support has been able to answer me, and i've been directed to 7 different reps!

Are you still having this issue? I ask because it can take up to 24 hours for your new box to completely sync.
