Last week my ipad app worked without problem. I don't know if its related, however, now that the app has been updated, my HBO and Showtime subscriptions are no longer recognized and thus I can't play any these channel selections.
I called in this problem and somebody left me a message yesterday to call and I was given a reference #. Calling the number, I have now been on hold for over 3 hours. This is unacceptable............
Any suggestions - I uninstalled and installed several times and turned off Ipad - nothing.
This is also the same proble I am having trying to play HBO and Showtime shows on-line.

Is there anyway I add multiple DVR's? My son is at school and wants to use his DVR at his school and is on our account still. He's trying to set his up, and keeps changing ours at home.

I have an xfinity branded RNG 110 (on the compatible list). I try using the xfinity tv app to change channels from my iPad2, but the iPad does not 'see' any compatible TVs. Comcast told me that it would not work unless I pay for DVR service!

I'm having lots of issues with the Xfinity TV iOS app on the iPad 2. It crashes very often, mostly when switching DVRs or trying to change channelo or trying to send the test signal to the DVR. Half the time changing the channel or getting the name to appear on the DVR works maybe 20% of the time.
Restarting the iPad
Uninstalling/reinstalling the app
Uninstalling/reinstalling and picking a different zip code
Power cycling the DVRs
I've seen TONS of complaints similar to this on the reviews for the app itself.

After launching the XFinity TV app, I enter email and password, it shows me the TV it sees "TV 3", and asks me to verify that is what is showing on my TV - it is. I hit continue, and the app shuts down. I have uninstalled and reinstalled three times, and have cleared my cookies, cache and history in Safari. iPad 2. First time ever trying to get this to work.

I wanted to know why I cannot watch the same shows I watch on xfinity on my computer on the app on my ipad? For instance mtv shows are not available for Play Now on my ipad like they are online. is there a way to fix this? Please HELP!!! Thx!

I've asked a forum administrator (or other Comcast employee) to check this thread, but it's a holiday weekend ...
The unavailable network problem may be related to not using Comcast's DNS (domain name server). Look at this thread in this forum for something to try. You need to be using Comcast's DNS.

hey comcast...anything? I still can't watch xfinity tv and the remote control doesn't work (which really doesn't matter since I have a remote....) WHEN will you stop with the exclusive Apple agreement?
