Those low cost tablets are locked into the proprietary version of android they came with and can never be upgraded. You can try to go to the android market and try to download it and see if it will work but even on a true android tablet all you can do with the app is see the guide and change the channel. I would not hold out hope for it to ever hit the amazon market place, those apps in there are designed specifically for the kindle fire which in itself is just an ereader on steroids. The only world the app works in for all its functionality is apple.
