Is this app going to be available on the android market, because not everyone is an ipad or iphone owner?
Our team is currently working on adding Android support for the Xfinity Sports Remote App. However, I currently do not have a release date or timetable.
Once I know more about its release, I will let you know.

Any plans for adding in the option to set a reminder on your box for events? Would be nice for a future update that way I don't necessarily have to record it to make sure I don't miss it. At the very least an alert on the phone that says X vs. Y starts at 00:00.
Any plans to let us granularly pick which channels we want displayed? If a game is on CSN I want to see the channel number of the HD channel not the SD one. And I don't want to see games on premium sports packages.
