Silverlight 64-bit

[ Edited ]

Silverlight 64-bit is only available to Internet Explorer users who are using Windows 7 with Service Pack 1(must have IE9 installed) and Windows Server 2008 R2 S (must have IE8 or 9 installed).

If you’re using IE9 and are still getting a message to upgrade your Xfinity Player after you’ve upgraded, please check that you’re not using the 64-bit version. Please use IE9 32-bit, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari (see chart below for full compatibility).

The executable for IE 32-bit is located here:

  •  C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

There are no official 64-bit versions for any other browsers at this time.

Here is a complete list of Silverlight's compatibility:

(Silverlight will work for Mac users who are using Chrome. Neither Chrome or Microsoft officially support it though)

Thanks,
Joe
