I keep getting the error message to upgrade Silverlight and my silverlight is upgraded. I am using Google Chrome, so it is not the 64-bit compatibility problem.

Hello,
Try completely delete the software and choose the show that you want to watch and reinstall it that way.

Completely uninstall Silverlight from your computer. Then download and install Silverlight from the appropriate link below:
Follow all the on-screen instructions and then try playing videos again. Let me know the results.
Thanks,

Ok. Tried again and now it streams, however the audio is lagging the video by about 0.5 seconds. For all videos.
Same videos stream fine on my nexus 7 tablet via android app.
PC has lots of spare resources.

I can't watch videos on Linux (Mint) or Windows 7. Why even bother with Silverlight? Silverlight sucks. There's other ways to enforce Digital Rights Management.
HTML5, welcome to the future.

IE won't even work. Says IE8 is not supported? Even though it doesn't come up in the 'not officially supported' list.

Try using IE 32-bit version and not 64-bit.
littlebit123: The issue is with Firefox. Try uninstalling then reinstalling Firefox again and let me know the results.
