Watching Xfinity TV - not all channels are working for me.

I can no longer watch all available TV programs (the ones that aren't locked).  There are a few I can still view, but I keep getting messages that say "starting playback", but the message never clears and the show doesn't start.  For example I used to watch the Bachorlette every week, but now can't view it any more.  If I'm not logged in the message says, "obtaining authorization", but once I login I get the "starting playback" message that never clears.  Anyone else having this problem?  How'd you get it fixed?

One more note.  When this happens I just go straight to ABC or NBC to watch the show, but I'd rather be able to watch it directly on Xfinity's site.  Any help would be appreciated.

Please go to www.xfinitytv.com/computer and copy the information you see on-screen and paste it in this thread so we can further assist you.



Also, what are some shows that are working for you?

Haws-2,

 

Make sure you have the most up to date service pack installed for Windows XP.

 

Try using a different web browser like Safari or Firefox 3.6 (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html) and let me know if it works. This is not a permanent solution but it will help us narrow down your issue.

 

Also, can you give me an example of a video that does work and a video that doesn't work?
