while enjoying a movie on xfinity which I had been watching for well over an hour I got an error 1001 advising me to remove Microsoft silverlight and then go back in and reset it - I did the first step but now when I go to all programs - I am unable to locate Microsoft silverlight - i.e. perhaps since it was removed eh ? but now I need to get to the Microsoft Silverlight Configuration box so I can resume watching movies on xfinity

Download and install Silverlight from the link below:

Windows users 

Follow all the on-screen instructions and then try playing videos again. Let me know the results.
