I live in Boynton Beach Florida. I called and requested "Anyroom DVR" service. I scheduled an installation for today. When the tech arrived (late) he informed me that he could not go ahead with the installation because Anyroom DVR service was put on hold by comcast. (Why dispatch a tech to tell me that?). Needless to say I was very disappointed. Has anyone run into the same situation? Has Comcast discontinued Anyroom DVR Service?

They were not x1 boxes. I called again and was informed that there was no hold on non x1 boxes. After talking with the comcast associate I decided to wait for the x1 boxes to be available since the cost would be the same with greater feature content. I was put on the waiting list and will be contacted via email when the x1 boxes become available again. Thnx for the replies.
