This above comment is incorrect, the OP needs a Motorola DVR, including a stand alone unit. AnyRoom has nothing to do with it.

Where I live, you have to have Anyroom DVR in order to have that feature to work. I guess the Motorola area is different than the SA/Cisco area.

The correct response to the OP should have been to ask what model cable box they have, then give the proper answer depending on the equipment.

Hey - I've seen posts where you automatically assume that people have motorola boxes when they don't. You should take your own advice.
