XfinityTV and Equipment

We have an Explorer 2200 Set top box.  Recently the Bypass light is always on when the tv is turned off.

It is a bright enough light that it is annoying at night as the tv is in our bedroom.

It started being on when the new on screen guide was updated.  Any way to turn it off or is that the way it is

now?

Push menu two times-

choose setup then cable box setup

on RF bypass turn it off
