Commercial Skip

I recall reading somewhere that if you are watching a recorded program on the DVR and want top fast forward past a comercial, there was a way to turn on fast forward for like a 25 second interval.  Anyone familiar with this procedure?  Only way I now do it is fast forward through the commerciaal.

Is there a way to fast forward past commercials when watching a recorded program?  I don't like holding the FF arrow until I see the commercials has ended.  Seems like I read about that some where.

You can program the remote for 30 second skip. Use any button that doesn't do anything, such as the Help button.

You can also set 15 second back. Details on setting this up follow 30 second skip.
