I have been bateling for week issues with my HDHomeRun Prime and cablecard. I have spent hours on support calls, have been sent to tier two support twice.
I have been told that first my card is bad, later that the orgional person activated it wrong, and now that they can't activate a M-Card, only the single stream cards and I have the wrong card. They can not understand why I need the M-Card...Beat head against table! I have been told twice that higher level tech support would call me back but it never happens. Every single person I talk to does not seem to know thier you know what from a hole in the ground. Rediculous. If thier was another provider in my area I would have switched forever ago!
I now have my THIRD support ticket and a promise that I will get a call back....I'm not holding my breath!

Well the statement about using only an S card obviously indicates the person you were talking with does not have a clue.
Your experience is unfortunately somewhat common and only repeated calling seems to be getting anyone anywhere.
Have you tried the comcast cablecard activation number posted in the forum on the silicondust web site?
Look here CableCARD Activation Hotlines/Websites in the Prime/CableCARD - Activation & General Support section of the forum. Note that it is often more successful to call during normal business hours as the call can get forwarded to a general call center after hours.
Posting your diagnostic information on the SD site can get you a general idea of which comcast group you need to call (normally no single number can fully activate a device right now) and what magic words you need to use to point them in the right direction.

Yes, I did dial those numbers, many many many times. I keep getting bumped up to tier two support, they never call me and close my ticket as resolved.
I will post in the SD forum and see if I can get any help.

Did you ever figure out your problem ? I just got my HDHomerun prime yesterday and now, almost a year after you posted your problems, i'm still struggling with the same issues.
