When you have any odd issues like this, first start by unplugging the DVR for a minute, and then power it up again. That will rebuild the database of the recorded shows.
If that doesn't help, then the DVR might be starting to fail, and taking it and the remote to your local Comcast office would be the next step for a swap.
I take it you are still seeing the menu's and the list of recorded programs, it the show just won't show on the screen.

Yes, I can see everything. Menus, etc. It's just when I press play to watch the show, nothing. Just a black screen. I get the big looong green line showing it's recorded, it just won't play.
The DVR is only two months old too.
I will try the unplug method. Thank you!
