EAS and disconnected cable in back.

In the top right back of the cable box there is a cable that is not plugged in, Granted the tv still works, but the plug where it says TV/VCR is not plugged in it was previously,  I do have a DVD/VCR, i tried plugged it back in but it seems broken.  Also, the EAS sound came on one night, and it wasnt audible,  there is something wrong with that.  Just had the screen that said what it was EAS etc.

you're going to have to tell us what box and what you have it hooked up to.

 

Normally you a non hd box from the coax cable to the in on the box and then the out on the box to the tv.

 

If you have a dvd vcr in the mix you run the cable from the wall to the box the out of the box to the in on the vcr then the out on the vcr  to the tv.
