There still nothing happening in Groton.

You probably would get more detailed answers from the local people at the local office.  The local people know what's going on more than the national 800 number, and nothing has been publically announced that I've seen.

I have been asking about additonal HD Channels for the past 5 years without an answer from anyone at Comcast at any level.

HD service in the Groton area by Comcast is nothing short of pathetic!  We should all be receiving discounted bills

Living in Mystic and just got Comcast, could not be more disappointed I get about 12 HD channels, I can't believe it. I moved from upstate NY , and I mean upstate in the woods and we had hundreds of HD channels with more getting added every month. What is the problem here?

23 new HD channels are coming to Groton this year.

Suppose to have new HD channels added today.

Surprise - didn't happen.

Local Comcast office doesn't have a clue as to reason for delay.

Maybe will have to wait another 6 years!!

Any update on when the 23 HD channels are comming to the Groton CT system? I would love to have them while I vist during the 4th of July holiday. June 12th came without them being activated.

I went in and complained to the Groton office and the lady in there basically said she had no idea but it was a malfunction error. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she wanted no part of me. Lets just say by the time I left there the ladies wanted to cry lol. I was more upset that they were rude, especially the supervisor. Was able to get 40$ off my next bil because I got on the phone wit the 1 - 800 number and demanded to talk to someone. So as of June 20th we have the same crappy HD channels and are still 5+ years behind the rest of the country. I wish I could get Uverse or Fios but those aren't available here either lol!

Apologies, there appears to be a delay in the addition of the HD channels in this area.

I've attached a letter that was recently sent that addresses this. I don't have a new date just yet but will post here once that information is confirmed. Apologies for the delay.

EDIT: I have heard that the new HD channels are now available this morning in Groton.
