I have two Xfinity HD boxes, one is a DVR box and one is not. For both boxes, they default to Stretch mode on all non HD channels which drives me crazy. I know I can manually change it to Normal each time, (with the black bars on each side) but how do I make it default to Normal so I don't have to do that? It bugs me when I watch something on On Demand too because on the On Demand feature, you can't change it and I'm stuck watching it in Stretch mode, which really is annoying to me. I asked about it when the Comcast guys hooked them up and they said there is no way to change the default settings but.....is that really true???
