XfinityTV and Equipment

Hi,

We just purchased a new TV (720) and are using it in our bedroom upstairs. The picture is not that great.

I am using just the cable to connect from the little box to the TV. There is no place to connect an HDMI cable to this box.

Do I need a different kind of cable box upstairs to get a better picture?

You need an HD box, with either HDMI or component cables, to get an HD picture.  The "little box" (DTA) won't tune HD channels.
