XfinityTV and Equipment

I have a Bravia KDL 40V4100 and I want to use the remote that came with the TV. Right now the only things it controls on the TV are turning it on, selecting the input and the volume. I have to use the comcast remote to change channels and access the guide. I've looked through the info that came with the TV but there's nothing there about programming the remote for cable.

Can anyone help with this?

Most likely you'll have to check Sony's website to see if the remote can be programmed.  If it's a learning remote it should be able to capture the IR code sent from the comcast remote and assign it to a key.

It's probably easier to use the Comcast remote for everything.  You can set it to turn on the TV and adjust the volume.
