Hello--first post.
I noticed that the new RNG110 I just picked up has a jack on the back for an IR extender. Great idea, so I could put it down in the cabinet.
Here's a link to the manual. Illustration on page 6. http://www.comcast.com/MediaLibrary/1/1/Customers/
There was no IR extender cable included and Comcast tech support has no idea, does anyone here know which cable to use?
Searching around, I found this: http://amzn.com/B002JSDHCY
I e-mailed them and they said to find out if: a) the port is active and b) if it is for a 5v 38khz receiver cable with a 3.5mm plug.
Thanks for any insight!

hello rj,
the port is active, however we do not supply any ir extender.
we could not make any recommendation to which extender would be best. in my personal experience, i found no problem using whatever i can find cheapest locally e.g. shack/best buy.
