Hi Gang,

    My remote works great and it's fast when I change channels etc.  BUT ONLY when the TV is OFF!!  Once I turn on the TV, my remote stops working for 20 minutes and then it mostly works but not great.  I have to turn off the tv, change a channel and then turn the TV back on.

On a side note:  The HDMI output also stopped working (tech support could not fix it).  My laptop has HDMI and works great with the TV.

I have:

1: Called tech support and have performed every type of reset known.  They are baffled 

2: I have unplugged the box for 12 hours or more with same results

3: I have Swapped remotes with the other box downstairs with same results

Any ideas??  Can I PLEASE have a new box???

Take your box and remote to your local Comcast office and swap it for another one.
